Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday’s trading session in the red after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 49.65 points, or 0.63%, reaching 7,855.47 points.
By 10:30 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 27.5 million shares exchanged through 20,930 transactions with a liquidity of SAR 574.5 million.
The commercial and professional services sector led losers with 1.1%, followed by the pharmaceuticals sector with 0.84%, the materials shed 0.83%, telecommunication services went down 0.66%, and the banks edged down 0.62%.
On the other hand, the consumer services sector topped risers with 0.29%, and the insurance sector levelled up 0.23%.
Emaar The Economic City’s stock was the worst performer with 2.01%, whereas Anaam Holding’s stock was the best performer with 3.7%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market tumbled 7.39 points, or 0.31%, to 2,412.64 points.
Arab Sea Information System’s stock decreased 6.61%.
