Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday's trading session mixed after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 11.83 points, or 0.14%, to 8,310.7 points, while the parallel market index edged down.
By 10:45 am Saudi time, TASI saw trading of 19 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 392.4 million through 14,260 transactions.
The media sector increased 1.6%, followed by the materials, telecommunication services and banking sectors 0.28%, 0.2%, and 0.02%, respectively.
On the other hand, the diversified financials sector fell 0.33%, while the utilities sector shed 0.17%.
Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Company’s (Enaya) stock led risers with 9.93%, whereas Al Rajhi Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Al Rajhi Takaful) stock declined 1.42%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Marekt, decreased 17.81 points, or 0.58%, to 3,065.75 points.
Raydan Co’s stock lost 1.35%.
