Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday's trading session mixed after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) dropped 5.84 points, or 0.07%, to 7,993.75 points by 10:50 am Saudi time, while the parallel market index edged up.
TASI’s trading volume hit 19.9 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 433.54 million through 12,600 transactions.
The retailing, food and beverages, real estate investment traded funds (REITs), telecommunication services, banking, and materials sectors declined 0.87%, 0.8%, 0.5%, 0.05%, and 0.02%, respectively.
On the other hand, the consumer services sector rose 1.3%, while the real estate management and development sector inched up 0.7%.
Al Ahlia for Cooperative Insurance’s stock fell 2.2%, whereas Saudi Real Estate’s (Al Akaria) stock increased 7.5%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, rose 5.4 points, or 0.18%, to 3,070.98 points.
Arab Sea Information System’s stock grew 5.8%.
