Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday's trading sessioin in green territory, after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 4.51 points, or 0.05%, to 8,247.33 points.
By 10:38 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 22.4 million shares exchanged through 16,220 transactions with a turnover of SAR 612.98 million.
The retailing, insurance, media, materials, and banking sectors added 1.6%, 0.9%, 0.7%, 0.16%, and 0.05%, respectively.
On the other hand, the energy sector fell 3.4%, while the diversified financials sector inched down 0.6%.
Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance’s stock led risers with 5.2%, whereas Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical’s (Petro Rabigh) stock tumbled 8.5%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, jumped 4.72%, or 0.17%, to 2,810.61 points.
Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock rose 4.2%, followed by Baazeem Trading’s stock with 0.2%, while the stock Abo Moati for Bookstores inched down 0.1%.
