Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday with a positive performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 6.40 points, or 0.08%, to 7,579.88 points.
By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume reached 24.54 million shares exchanged through 25,000 transactions at a turnover of SAR 623.58 million.
The healthcare equipment and services sector led risers after inching up 0.8%, followed by the insurance sector with 0.7%.
The telecommunication services and materials sectors added 0.6% and 0.3%, respectively.
On the other hand, the media sector was the worst performer with 1%, followed by the diversified financials and banking sectors with 0.6% and 0.1%, respectively.
AlAhli Takaful Company’s (ATC) stock topped gainers with 4.3%, whereas the stock of Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Khodari Sons Company was the worst performer with 3.7%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, rose 3.66 points, or 0.16%, to 2,358.80 points.
Baazeem Trading Co’s stock inched up 0.3%.
