Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 12 points, or 0.14%, to 8,478.7 points.
By 10:50 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 48 million shares, through 22,000 transactions, generating SAR 1.12 billion.
The energy sector inched up 0.7%, followed by materials with 0.51%, and banks with 0.17%.
On the other hand, the commercial and professional services sector fell 4.5%, followed by food and staples retailing with 1.23%, and telecommunication services with 0.13%.
Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company’s stock led gainers, surging 6.32%, whereas Saudi Airlines Catering Co’s stock decreased 4.89%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, edged up 1.94 points, or 0.07%, reaching 2,834.47 points. Arab Sea Information System’s stock went up 1.79%.
