Saudi indices start Thursday in decline

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Thursday’s trading session in red territory after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) retreated 11.94 points, or 0.15%, to 7,778.92 points.

By 10:45 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 10.45 million shares exchanged through 12,810 transactions at a turnover of SAR 237.65 million.

The banking sector led losers with 0.25%, followed by the real estate management and development sector with 0.24%.

The materials and telecommunication services sectors shed 0.16% and 0.04%, respectively. 

On the other hand, the consumer services sector rose 1.1%, while the diversified financials increased 0.9%.

Saudi Chemical Co’s stock led losers with 1.6%, while the stock of Leejam Sports Company was the best performer with 6.7%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, edged down 0.08%, or 2.01%, to 2,565.55 points.

Raydan Co's stock levelled down 0.08%.
