Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Thursday’s trading session in green territory, after its main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) grew 26.35 points, or 0.33%, reaching 7,919.9 points.
By 10:30 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 69.5 million shares exchanged through 12,270 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 1.05 billion.
The Consumer Durables & Apparel sector rose 1.52%, followed by the healthcare, banking and basic materials sectors with 0.99, 0.74% and 0.17%, respectively.
On the negative side, the telecommunication sector fell 0.88%, followed by the real estate sector, which plunged by 0.55%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market, grew 2.73 points, or 0.1%, to 2,624.89 points.
