Saudi indices start Thursday in green

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Thursday’s trading session in the green territory after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went up 32.24 points, or 0.38%, to 8,558.9 points.

By 10:45 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume hit 32.25 million shares exchanged through 24,860 transactions with a turnover of SAR 614.7 million.

The consumer services, telecommunication services, materials, and banking sector increased 1.2%, 0.7%, 0.48%, and 0.37%, respectively.

On the other hand, the media and entertainment sector led losers with 0.26%, while the transportation sector shed 0.22%.

Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Khodari Sons Company’s stock topped gainers after jumping 10%, while Al Ahlia for Cooperative Insurance’s stock led losers with 1.76%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, grew 5.04 points, or 0.14%, to 3,689.53 points.

Raydan Co’s stock led risers with 1.34%.

The joint index between Tadawul and MSCI, MT30 index, levelled up 5.28 points, or 0.42%, to 1,265.78 points.
