Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) began Wednesday’s trading session in red territory after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) tumbled 8.8 points, or 0.11%, to 7,708.95 points.
By 10:45 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume hit 15.8 million shares exchanged through 16,000 transactions generating a turnover of SAR 343 million.
The telecommunication services, banking, and materials sectors levelled down 0.47%, 0.22%, and 0.06%, respectively.
On the other hand, the media sector rose 1.17%, while the capital goods sector added 1.06%.
Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Company’s (Enaya) stock led losers with 1.73%, while the Saudi Cable Company’s stock topped risers with 9.95%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market, shed 11.37 points, or 0.47%, to 2,425.37 points.
Abdullah Saad Mohamed Abo Moati for Bookstores Company’s stock fell 2.65%, while the stock of Raydan Co went up 4.31%.
