Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Wednesday’s trading session on a mixed note, after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 7.22 points, 0.09%, to 7,958.64 points.
By 10:45 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume hit 45.35 million shares changed hands through 23,470 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 948.08 million.
The energy, utilities, telecommunication services, and banks sectors levelled up 0.6%, 0.5%, 0.04%, and 0.03%, respectively.
On the flipside, the insurance sector fell 0.4%, followed by the healthcare segment with 0.3%, while the materials sector dropped 0.01%.
Amana Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock led gainers with 4%, whereas Alinma Bank’s stock declined 2.5%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, tumbled 16.23 points, or 0.5%, to 3,038.92 points.
Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries’ stock decreased 3.4%, whereas Raydan Co’s stock jumped 8.4%.
