Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Tuesday's trading session in red territory after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 20.5 points, or 0.24%, to 8,428 points.
By 10:35 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 19.5 million shares exchanged with a turnover of SAR 460 million through 14,300 transactions.
The commercial and professional services sector declined 0.93%, followed by the telecommunication services sector with 0.48%. While the materials and banking sectors dropped 0.33%, and 0.18%, respectively.
On the other hand, the pharmaceuticals sector rose 1.23%, while the energy sector added 1.02%.
The Saudi Company for Hardware’s (SACO) stock led losers with 10%, whereas Malath Cooperative Insurance’s stock levelled up 4.63%.
Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, remained unchanged at 2,787.62 points.
