Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday’s trading session in the red after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 19.6 points, or 0.23%, to 8,446.14 points.
By 10:30 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 17.6 million shares exchanged through 16,800 transactions at a turnover of SAR 309.4 million.
The healthcare, media, telecommunication services, materials, and banking sectors levelled down 0.56%, 0.55%, 0.24%, 0.23%, and 0.21%, respectively.
On the other hand, the consumer durables and apparel sector led gainers with 1.01%, while the capital goods sector rose 0.72%.
The Saudi Industrial Export Company’s (SIEC) stock led losers with 2.3%, while the stock of Electrical Industries Co (EIC) was the best performer with 9.92%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, decreased 3.31 points, or 0.09%, to 3,763.12 points.
Abdullah Saad Mohamed Abo Moati for Bookstores Company’s stock topped losers with 2.26%, while Al Omran Industrial and Trading Company’s headed gainers with 2.47%.
The joint index between Tadawul and MSCI, MT30 went down 3.3 points, or 0.26%, reaching 1,243.53 points.
