Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s foreign reserves increased by 2.48% year-on-year, or SAR 46.9 billion in May, according to the monthly report of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), released on Thursday.
The kingdom’s foreign reserves reached SAR 1.939 trillion ($517 billion) last month, compared to SAR 1.892 trillion ($504.5 billion) in the year-ago period.
Month-on-month, the value of Saudi foreign reserves rose 2.37% in May from SAR 1.894 trillion ($505 billion) in April.
