Saudi investment funds eyes more investment opportunities in Egypt

Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt's Minister of Investment, Ashraf Salman said it discussed number of projects with investments amounts to SAR 30 billion ($8 billion) with Saudi investment funds.

The investments will be distributed across the fields of housing, tourism, agriculture and power over the next upcoming five years.

The Saudi investments in Egypt come in second place, in respect to the other Arab countries investments in Egypt, pointed out Salman.

Last December, Saudi Arabia has pledged new support for Egypt’s economy in the form of oil assistance and $8 billion in additional investments in the country.
