Saudi investments in Egypt more than $6bn - Minister

Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian minister of trade and industry said that Saudi Arabia ranks first as the biggest Arab country investing in the Egyptian market, with investments exceeding $6 billion.

Tarek Kabil said in a statement on Sunday that the Saudi investments are distributed over 3,400 projects in different fields, while Egyptian investments in KSA amount to $2.5 billion distributed over 1,300 projects.

Today, King Salman of Saudi Arabia received the Egyptian President Abd Elfattah Elsisi in Riyadh.

Regarding the bilateral trade between the two countries, the minister noted that it reached $4.3 billion last year.
