Saudi market ends Sunday in red

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Sunday’s trading session with negative performance, dragged by the fall of blue chips.

The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went declined by 0.84%, or 64.46 points, ending the session at 7,631.02 points.

TASI’s traded volume reached 74.35 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 1.9 billion through 73,570 transactions.

Batic Investments and Logistics’ stock topped the decliners falling 4.41%, followed by Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia’s stock with 3.38%.

On the other hand, the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia’s stock headed the gainers adding 4.53%.

As for sectors, the media sector topped the bourse’s losers falling 4.02%, while the energy sector led the market’s risers adding 2.25%.

On the other hand, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, levelled down by 1.68%, or 61.98 points, finishing the session at 3,631.09 points.
