Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Monday’s trading session with a negative performance for the sixth session in a row, hitting its lowest level since November 2018.
The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went declined by 0.42%, or 31.96 points, ending the session at 7,599.06 points.
TASI’s traded volume reached 105.37 million shares by the end of Monday compared to 74.35 million shares on Sunday, while trading value hiked to SAR 2.79 billion from SAR 1.9 billion the session before.
The pharma sector topped the bourse’s gainers adding 1.17%, followed by the utilities sector with 0.53%.
On the negative side, the transportation sector headed the losers falling 2.57%, followed by the telecom and materials sector with 0.42% and 0.27%, respectively.
On the other hand, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, levelled down by 1.06%, or 38.36 points, finishing the session at 3,592.73 points.
