Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia posted a 19.4% year-on-year growth, or SAR 15.66 billion, in merchandise exports in November, logging SAR 96.34 billion, up from SAR 80.69 billion, the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) reported.
The kingdom’s merchandise exports include oil and non-oil exports, the state-run statistics agency added.
Oil exports jumped 22.8%, or SAR 14.06 billion, to SAR 75.79 billion last November, from SAR 61.73 billion in the same month a year earlier.
As for non-oil exports, the GCC country registered 8.4% year-on-year increase, or SAR 1.6 billion, by the end of November 2018, reaching SAR 20.56 billion, compared to SAR 18.96 billion.
Month-on-month, Saudi Arabia’s exports dropped by 15.5%, or SAR 17.65 billion, in the eleventh month of 2018, while oil exports decreased by SAR 18.5 billion, or 19.6%.
The value of Saudi non-oil exports levelled up SAR 850 million, or 4.3%, in November, compared to the previous month.
