Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Human Resource and Social Development (HRSD), Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi, has issued a ministerial decree on Wednesday raising the minimum wages paid to Saudi citizens employed under the “Nitaqat” employment system to SAR 4,000 from SAR 3,000.
The decision includes Saudi students who reside in the kingdom and have a regular part-time job, as well as permanently part-time employees and flexible work system workers, the ministry said on its official Twitter account.
The decision shall come into effect in five months starting from 18 November 2020.
