Saudi mogul abandons Egypt’s sports business

Riyadh – Mubasher: Pyramids Football Club announced that the club's owner and chairman of the Saudi General Sports Authority, Turki Al-Sheikh, has officially withdrawn investment in sports in Egypt.

Al-Sheikh will bring professional contracts to the club’s footballers, in addition to contracts for the TV channel's employees, Pyramids FC said on Twitter.

The club will be officially managed by Hossam El-Badry, Hady Khashaba, and Ahmed Hassan, the club highlighted,

“I’m responsible for each and every person working in Pyramids,” Al-Sheikh added.

He revealed that how serious he is to stop investing in sports in Egypt due to the unjustified attack on him from media.

Turki Al-Sheikh has acquired Al Assiouty Sport this year and changed its name to Pyramids FC and supported it with several footballers.
