Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi non-oil exports fell by 6.25% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 15 billion in February, compared to SAR 16 billion in the same month in 2020, the Saudi Export Development Authority announced.
The volume of non-oil exports reached 4.8 million tonnes last February, down by 7.7% YoY from 5.2 million, the authority said in a statement on Thursday.
The petrochemicals and building materials sector ranked first with a total value of exports amounting to SAR 9.5 billion, of which polypropylene exports made up SAR 1.61 billion.
China was the kingdom’s top export market destination during the month with a value of SAR 2.4 billion, followed by India and Bahrain with SAR 1.1 billion and SAR 1 billion, respectively.
