Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia's non-oil exports have jumped 26.5%, year-on-year, or SAR 4.1 billion, in April, Saudi General Authority for Statistics’ (GASTAT) data showed.
The kingdom’s non-oil exports amounted to SAR 19.6 billion in April, compared to SAR 15.5 billion in the same month a year earlier, the GASTAT added.
Month-on-month, Saudi non-oil exports increased by SAR 306 million or 1.6%, compared to March, the state-run statistics agency said.
Oil exports surged SAR 17.3 billion or 33.4% to SAR 68.9 billion in the fourth month of this year, from SAR 51.7 billion the prior-year period.
On a monthly basis, the value of Saudi oil exports grew by SAR 6.9 billion or 11.1%.
The GCC nation's merchandise exports levelled up 31.8% to SAR 88.5 billion during April, compared to SAR 67.1 billion in the same month in the year before.
Saudi merchandise exports increased by SAR 7.2 billion or 8.8% in the fourth month of 2018, compared to March.
