Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia exported 7.170 million crude oil barrels per day (bpd) in January up from 7.045 million bpd the month before, data released by the Joint Organisations Data Initiative (JODI) showed.
The kingdom’s output increased by 3,000 barrels a day, reaching 9.983 million bpd in January, JODI said in a report released on Monday.
Net consumption of refineries in Saudi Arabia decreased by 206,000 bpd to reach 2.622 million bpd in January, while crude oil reserves fell by 4.201 million bpd to 240.808 million barrels.
Demand on the kingdom’s oil products declined by 236,000 bpd to hit 2.058 million bpd in the first month of 2018, whereas Saudi Arabia’s exports of oil products rose by 406,000 bpd, reaching 1.912 million bpd in January.
