Saudi oil exports hike 25% in 2017

Riyadh – Mubasher: The value of Saudi Arabia's oil exports jumped 25% to SAR 638.4 billion during the full-year 2017, from SAR 510.7 billion a year earlier.

The kingdom’s oil exports made up 77% of total merchandise exports which hit SAR 828.9 billion last year.

In 2017, the world's top oil exporter posted a trade surplus worth SAR 341 billion, while exports amounted to SAR 828.9 billion, against SAR 488 billion in imports.

The GCC country’s oil exports reached SAR 62.11 billion during December 2017, compared to SAR 52.15 billion in the same month the year before.
