Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi oil exports jumped 27% year-on-year in the first five months of 2018.
Total value of oil exports amounted to SAR 331.4 billion ($88.4 billion) during the period between January and May, compared to SAR 260.6 billion ($69.5 billion) in the corresponding period a year earlier, according to Mubasher's statistic based on General Authority for Statistics’ (GASTAT) data.
Oil exports represented about 78% of the kingdom's total exports in the first five months of this year, which recorded SAR 426.2 billion ($114 billion).
Year-on-year, the GCC nation’s oil exports surged 59% to SAR 74.9 billion in May 2018, from SAR 47.1 billion.
