Riyadh – Mubasher: The private sector in Saudi Arabia owns nine organic fertiliser utilities across the oil-rich kingdom, according to recent data issued by the Ministry of Environment Water and Agriculture (MEWA).
The private sector worked on developing and establishing these complexes in a bid to meet the kingdom’s needs since the beginning of organic farming in Saudi Arabia in 2006.
The ministry noted that these plants are operating under its supervision and in line with state-of-the-art standards.
