Saudi riyal hits 1-yr low in one-yr forwards market

Riyadh-Mubasher: The Saudi riyal hit its lowest against the US dollar in more than one year on Thursday in the one-year forwards market as falling oil prices exert fresh pressure on the pegged currency, CNBC Arabia website reported.

One-year dollar/riyal forwards rose 825 basis points amid several volatilities.

The riyal is pegged to the dollar at SAR 3.75 per dollar.
