Saudi’s King Salman reshuffles Cabinet

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz on Thursday named several new ministers in the Saudi cabinet as part of a reshuffle.

The Saudi king appointed Ibrahim Al-Assaf as the new foreign minister, stated media reported on Thursday, noting that Al-Assaf replaces Adel al-Jubeir, who in turn was named minister of state for foreign affairs.

Salman also named Majed bin Abdullah Al Qasabi as minister of municipal and rural affairs in addition to his post as minister for trade and investment, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
