Saudi trade surplus rises 34% in May

Riyadh - Mubasher: Saudi trade surplus grew by 34% year-on-year during May, as shown by the data of the Saudi General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).

Trade surplus reached SAR 18.8 billion in May 2017, compared to SAR 13.9 billion for the same month last year.

Saudi Exports totalled SAR 62.4 million, while imports reached SAR 43.7 billion.

Meanwhile, non-oil exports went up by 1.9% to SAR 47.49 billion from SAR 46.62 billion in May 2016.
