Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi labor force reached 5.7 million citizens by the end of the third quarter of 2016, representing 42% of the population over 15 years old, according to General Authority for Statistics (GaStat).
The number of Saudi employees reached 5.02 million persons, or 87.9% of the labor force, while unemployment ratio hit 693,780 employees or 12.1% of the labor force.
The number of employees over 15 years old stood at 13.13 million by the end of Q3-16, of which 11.19 million (58.2%) are males.
