Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudia, the Kingdom’s national flag carrier, entered into a special prorate agreement (SPA) with Myanmar Airways International to expand travel options, according to a press release.
The deal enables guests to book travel on a single itinerary between Jeddah or Madinah and Yangon, with connections via key regional hubs including Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Dubai.
Meanwhile, guests will leverage coordinated itineraries across both airlines’ networks, allowing a streamlined booking process across Saudia and Myanmar Airways International.
The partnership expands Saudia’s reach into Myanmar and fosters its connectivity with Southeast Asia, supporting growing travel demand between the two markets.
The Saudi airline serves more than 100 destinations across four continents and continues to scale its global network through new routes and strategic partnerships.
Saudia recently unveiled plans for 12 new aircraft throughout 2026 in line with its fleet expansion strategy to boost operational efficiency and enhance global connectivity.
