Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) on Tuesday announced the launch of new flights to Athens and Marrakesh starting from early June.
Saudia’s new Jeddah-Marrakesh route will be launched on 6 June on a Boeing 787 three times weekly, while the Riyadh-Athens route will be operated on an Airbus A320 four times per week, Arabian Business reported.
The Riyadh-Athens route is resumed after being suspended in 2008 by the Saudi airline.
It is noteworthy that Saudia’s 160-aircraft fleet flies to 95 destinations around the world.
In 2018, the airline served over 34 million passengers and launched new flights to Vienna, Trivandrum, Surabaya, Medan, along with re-introducing routes to Cochin and operating seasonal flights to Izmir, Malaga and Moscow.
