Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudisation rate in private sector establishments grew to 22.75% during the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, compared with 20.37% in Q1-2020, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing the National Labor Observatory.
The Q1-21 registered rate was also higher than 20.21% and 18.61% in the same quarter of 2019 and 2018, respectively.
The Eastern Province topped the Kingdom in Saudisation with 25.7% during Q1-21, followed by Riyadh and Makkah with 24.5% and 21.4%, respectively.
In August 2020, Saudisation by 70% of wholesale and retail operations in nine economic activities had commenced.
