Mubasher: Securities House posted a decrease of 52.5% in losses during the second quarter of 2018 compared to the same period a year ago.
Losses stood at nearly KWD 268,970 ($888,900) in Q2-18 from approximately KWD 565,940 ($1.9 million) in Q2-17, according to a bourse statement on Monday.
From January to June, Securities House achieved a profit of nearly KWD 158,880 against losses worth around KWD 617,210 in the same half last year.
The positive turn in H1 financials is attributed to an increase in an associate’s income.
