Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) general index added 4.13 points, or 0.14%, to close at 2,948.8 points on Thursday on the back of the selective purchases.
The DFM’s trading volume reached 125.65 million shares, while the market’s liquidity amounted to AED 146.98 million.
The investment sector grew 1.29%, as Dubai Investments rose 1.5% to AED 2.03, while the consumer staples sector went up 0.53% after DXB Entertainments increased by 0.6% to AED 0.341.
Moreover, the telecommunication sector and its only stock, du, added 0.16% each, whereas the real estate sector gained 0.14%, as Emaar Properties levelled up 0.4% to AED 5.3.
