Selective purchases push up DFM at Sunday’s close

Dubai – Mubasher:  The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Sunday’s trading session in green territory, pushed by selective purchases on leading stocks.

The general index rose 16.32 points, or 0.65%, closing the session at 2,549.93 points.

The bourse’s trading volume reached 112.18 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 168.34 million through 2,456 transactions.

The real estate sector headed the risers adding 1.71% on the back of Emaar Properties’ 1.95% increase, while the banks sector grew 0.67% as Mashreq Bank and Emirates NBD levelled up 6.67$ and 0.49%, respectively.

Similarly, the investment sector grew 0.48% as DFM Company and Dubai Investments advanced 1.38% and 0.67%, respectively.
