Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has seen a downward trend on Tuesday amid facing selling pressures.
The ADX’s general index inched down 5.30 points, or 0.10%, to 5,070.19 points.
Trading volume amounted to 33.48 million shares that were exchanged through 1,011 transactions at a turnover of AED 90.42 million.
Market capitalisation shed AED 1.07 billion and closed the session at AED 518.52 billion.
The energy sector fell by 0.82%, followed by the banks sector that slipped 0.20%, while the real estate sector rose by 1.01% and the telecommunication sector remained stable.
ADNOC Distribution’s stock led the losers and fell by 2.59%, while Manazel Real Estate’s stock headed the winners and jumped by 3.75%.
Aldar Properties was the most heavily traded stock with 13.52 million shares traded at a turnover of AED 28.51 million.
