Senaat’s EBITDA hit AED 2.1bn in 2017

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Senaat, a leading industrial investment holding company, has announced that its total earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) increased by 16% year-on-year to AED 2.1 billion in 2017.

The company’s revenues also rose 18% to AED 16 billion last year, from AED 13.4 billion a year earlier, according to a press release posted on Tuesday.

“In FY 2017, SENAAT invested AED 1.2 billion in assets. The company continues to self-finance its growth, and reinvesting profits to further develop its asset base,” Senaat’s chairman Hussain Jasim Al Nowais commented.

The Abu Dhabi-based company’s total assets reached AED 27.2 billion in 2017, registering 18.3% growth since 2004, Senaat revealed.

“The diversified nature of our portfolio is one of the main factors that supported SENAAT to deliver an excellent overall performance during the past few years,” Senaat’s CEO Jamal Salem Al Dhaheri said.
