Dubai – Mubasher: The number of passengers in Sharjah International Airport increased by 3.1% or 230,000 travelers during the first seven months of 2017.
Sharjah Airport registered 6.53 million passengers from January to July in 2017, compared to 6.3 million in the corresponding period a year ago, according to the latest data issued by Sharjah International Airport.
The volume of air cargo registered in the first seven months this year increased by 3.3% to total 44,270 tonnes from 42,845 tonnes in the same period a year ago.
In July, more than one million passengers travelled through Sharjah Airport, a 4.5% year-on-year growth when compared to 960,000 passengers in July 2016.
