Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) and the Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah) will hold the Sharjah FDI Forum 2017 on 19 and 20 September.
The forum will include five discussions on its first day, with the attendance of local and international experts discussing topics related to investment in the UAE and the region, tapping into the knowledge economy, industry, technology, innovation, and development, according to a statement.
Mohammed Al Musharrakh, director of Invest in Sharjah, said: “The rapid pace of global economic change highlights the instrumental role played by foreign direct investment (FDI) as a key factor for national economic stability and growth.”
The UAE acquired 26.5% of total FDI in the Gulf states until the end of 2016.
