Sharjah Holding launches AED 650m Al Lilac community

Sharjah – Mubasher: Sharjah Holding has launched its new neighbourhood in Al Zahia community project, named Al Lilac.

The AED 650 million construction project includes 120 homes, townhouses and villas, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported on Saturday.

Comprising a total of seven communities independent but linked, Al Zahia project as a whole has a total cost of AED 4 billion and houses 2,270 residential units.

Slated for completion by 2022, the development is also set to include six themed parks, leisure facilities and a super-regional mall, WAM reported.

Speaking at a press conference in Al Zahia, Hawazen Esber CEO of Communities at Majid Al Futtaim Properties, noted that Al Lilac's designs were executed to meet the current and future needs of its residents in Sharjah.

This was done by merging Al Zahia residents' comments and expectations and using them to build modern homes that meet their daily needs, he added.

Units are currently available for sale to UAE residents, GCC nationals and Arabs, Esber said, noting that the there were four kinds of financing to purchase Al Lilac's units.
