Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Sharjah Holding, a strategic partnership between Majid Al Futtaim Properties and Sharjah Asset Management, has launched Uptown Al Zahia, the newest neighbourhood Al Zahia.
Uptown Al Zahia features various options, ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments, in addition to swimming pools, fitness facilities, and underground parking, according to a statement.
The residential community will embrace more than 700 families following completion in 2022.
The neighbourhood is located minutes away from Sharjah International Airport and Free Zone.
Uptown Al Zahia will feature two clusters Woroud and Zohour, as the first phase includes Woroud 1, which is one of five residential buildings within the complex, offering a wide range of studios and one-bedroom apartments.
The project aims to boost community living standards, offering an integrated unique place where residents can enjoy life and work, as well as have fun, project head of Al Zahia at Majid Al Futtaim Communities Shadi Al Azzeh said.
For his part, Walid Al Hashimi, CEO of Sharjah Holding commented: “Uptown Al Zahia builds upon the emirate's rich cultural and environmental heritage. We are excited to bring to market yet another innovative destination set within a progressive, sustainable, green community.”
Upon completion in 2023, Al Zahia is expected to be home for over 12,000 residents as it will have around 2,270 villas, townhouses and apartments.
It is worth noting that Al Zahia has eight individually designed neighbourhoods and six themed community parks.
