Mubasher: Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the ruler of Sharjah, has approved on Sunday a budget of AED 22.1 billion for fiscal year 2018.
The total value of the general budget is 6% more compared to the emirate's 2017 budget, with a focus on several strategic objectives and indicators within the economic, social, scientific, and cultural fields of the Sharjah, primarily an expansion in infrastructure investments, as reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM).
According to the decree law issued by Al Qasimi, the government authorities may also be authorized to carry out financial transfers between the sections and items of each activity by 100% except for the first part.
