Riyadh – Mubasher: Sheikh Abdulaziz Alfawzan, a Saudi Muslim scholar, tweeted that subscription to the initial public offering Middle East Healthcare Company (MEAHCO) is “lawful”.
The fatwa, or religious opinion, came after the scholar reviewed the IPO’s prospectus.
The IPO coverage till 7 March reached 41.5% of the 8.28 million shares offered for retail subscription.
The IPO will be running till 9 March at SAR 64 per share.
