Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed sets AED 7.2bn residential stimulus package

UAE - Mubasher: Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has issued a residential stimulus package worth AED 7.2 billion, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

A total of 6,100 citizens are expected to benefit from the new residential package, which has been set in coincidence with the UAE's 49th National Day.

The package includes the disbursement of housing loans, distribution of housing and residential lands, and exemption of retired citizens and the families of the deceased from repaying the loans.

It is noteworthy to mention that in July, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed ordered the disbursement of housing loans valued at AED 2.78 billion.
