Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) has closed a deal with Diamond Developers to deliver a sustainable mixed-use project in Sharjah.
The new green project represents a realisation of Shurooq’s strategic partnership with the private sector, the Emirati authority said in a statement.
Shurooq did not give further data regarding the value and the timeframe of the project, adding that a full disclosure will take place in a ceremony, which will be organised this year.
“Through this new partnership, we will use these achievements in expanding our development initiatives for fully integrated and environmentally friendly communities in Sharjah,” Shurooq’s chairperson Bodour Al Qasimi revealed.
Diamond Developers is the developer of the Sustainable City in Dubai.
“Sharjah’s flourishing real estate sector has achieved highly promising growth rates over recent years,” Diamond Developers CEO Faris Saeed commented.
