Cairo – Mubasher: Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals posted on Thursday a 48% year-on-year surge in profits for the first half of 2017 due to higher sales, according to a bourse filing.
The Egyptian company achieved profits of EGP 607 million in the six months ended June 2017, from EGP 410 million in the corresponding period of 2016.
Sales rose to EGP 2.6 billion in H1-17, compared to EGP 1.3 billion in H1-16.
Net profits amounted to EGP 214 million in the three months ended March 2017, from EGP 217 million in the same period of the year before.
