Sidi Kerir profits increase 69% in 2016

Cairo - Mubasher: Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Company’s (SKPC) profits increased 69% during the fiscal year which ended on 31 December 2016, according to the company’s audited financial results.

Net profits reached EGP 1.42 billion in 2016 compared to EGP 842.35 million in the year before, the company added in a statement on Sunday.

Sidi Kerir’s unaudited financial results for 2016 had shown profits worth EGP 1.366 billion compared to EGP 842.3 million in 2015.

The company achieved net profits of EGP 543.2 million in the first nine months of 2016 compared to EGP 664.98 million for the same period in 2015; a decline of 18.3%.

Sidi Kerir’s stock rose 1.43% to EGP 19.81 at the beginning of Sunday’s trading session.
