Cairo – Mubasher: Sidi Kerir Petrochemical (Sidpec) will sign two agreements for supplying propane gas and electricity for propylene and polypropylene project.
Sidpec will sign a propane gas supply deal with Egyptian Natural Gas Company (GASCO) and an electricity supply agreement with the Egyptian Ethylene And Derivatives Company (Ethydco), according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Monday.
The petrochemical producer is implementing propane and polypropylene project with a capacity of 450,000 tonnes per year at an estimated investment cost of $1.2 billion, the statement added.
Sidpec is targeting investments worth EGP 1.03 billion in 2018 budget scheme.
